Time Flies!

Has it really been two years?
WOW!
It is so amazing to look back at AGP's pictures to see how she has changed and how her little personality has stayed the same. Each day is an adventure and a blessing. Her big thing this week has been telling the sun good morning and telling it, "Come on - we go to Mee Mee's house," then she watches it follow her all the way. She does the same thing in the afternoons - tells the sun to follow her to Anna Grace's home. And when she realizes it is dark - she tells the sun night-night and starts looking for the moon!

Wednesday - AGP wore big girl panties and used the big girl potty all day long - no accidents!

I think I may go watch her sleep for a little while.
"Night, night sun - moon where are you?"

Valentine's Day

Sorry for the delay! I have tried several times to sit down and add, but something always came up.

Anna Grace is all about helping me cook. She wants to sit on the counter and stir. So, Valentine's Day was all about her baking cookies and decorating them. She had a blast. I was really surprised with how long she stayed focused.
If you look closely you can see one of her many heart stickers. She peeled them off my Valentine card from John and stuck them to her legs. The heart stickers stayed on through cookie baking, decorating, playing, and her nap!
Look at me! I did it, Papa!
Hearts on the legs, heart cookies, heart pancakes for breakfast... Happy Valentine's day!

Where Does AG Get Her Moods?

Certainly not from her momma!
She is in a foul one today. At 2:30 this afternoon, she started telling MeeMee, "Anna Grace is just tired. Need some juicy and nap blankie - ok, Mee Mee?" They got back to the house in time for me to pick her up. All the way home -she sang "Anna Grace sleepy time" over and over and over again.

Once we got home, AG asked for Einstein's and juice. I gave it to her and then she said, "No, Mommy - milk and Elmo."
What a rough 45 minutes!
Thank goodness for Big Dog, Little Baby, and Winston.
Happy notes: AG insisted on milk in a big girl glass at dinner - no spills. She also begged to take her diaper off because she "have bobo." She wore her Elmo panties for over an hour with no accidents!

I am sure this is one night that John was thrilled to be teaching until 9:00 p.m.

Speaking of Papa - he completed the holiday 08 movie and mailed them today. You should all have your copy for Valentine's Day. I think you will be happy - John truly did an amazing job.

Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail...

Anna Grace's new favorite book is Peter Rabbit. She is all about Mr. Gregor's garden (notice it is not McGregor). We have edited the story - she has no idea that Peter's dad became the McGregor's family dinner.

AG also likes to read the pages about Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail picking and eating blackberries. Today, she was thrilled to be outside. AG discovered "blackberries" on the Crepe Myrtle trees in our backyard.

AG picked berries for almost 30 minutes!

Milly, The Baby Goat

It is so nice to have friends in Vet School. Nathan Kunze was given an orphaned baby goat after the surgery they did on the pregnant momma was unsuccessful. Milly is 3 weeks old. She acts more like a puppy than a goat. Winston had more fun than AG!
AG loved Milly. She tried so hard to get Milly to eat grass out of her hands. AG moved too fast and Milly wouldn't do it.
Wonder what the neighbors thought about a poodle, a toddler, 4 adults, and a baby goat inthe front yard?
AG has talked about the baby goat all day today. She wanted to take a nap with Milly. Thanks, Kunzes for letting us play with Milly!
