General Stuff

AG continues to make us smile.
She has now started calling herself - "Mommy's Angel" and "Papa's Porkchop." Where does she come up with this stuff? She has named her babies - Little Baby, Kengall, Darlin', Lily, and Very Little Baby. She knows exactly which baby she wants a certain times - just any doll won't work. There is one doll (not sure of her name) that cries all the time. Mee Mee spends lots of time consoling the crying baby doll each day.

When she cries, she tells us, "Anna Gracie is cry cry." Like we can't tell!

After pulling the fireplace screen over onto her leg, she has told everyone that the bad fireplace fell and hurt Mommy's Angel.

AG spent all day yetserday saying Happy Party, Papa! She went to a birthday party Saturday and got very confused with Happy Birthday and birthday party. AG was very proud of the Elmo birthday card she picked out for Papa. But her favorite part of Papa's birthday was a cupcake he brought home for her from his class party. With every lick and bite, she announced that Anna Grace like it! At one point, AG was licking one side and Winston was licking the other side - gross! They didn't seem to mind.

What is next?

The Pennisi Family

Here are a few pics of us with the AGP from our Asheville trip.
Front entrance to "Big House."

AG's heavy, warm outfit was the talk of the other tourists. Apparently, most parents didn't feel the need to dress the children as warmly as we did. Several older people commented that AG was the best dressed child at the Biltmore - maybe that is why she enjoyed the fabulous, sprawling lawn better than the inside of the house. She did not undertstand why we would not let her sit on chairs or sofas - or my favorite request was her wanting to go to sleep in the beds!

AG really thought the velvet ropes were meant to keep everyone away from her and all of the fabulous furnishings inside the Biltmore.

Maggie Valley for "skiing" or tubing as the rest of the world calls it.

AGP's Face Says It All!

Hot Chocolate at Starbuck's tastes good and stains even better!
"Papa funny!" Mommy and Papa weren't laughing at the HUGE drop off behind the stone wall while AG was squirming around.
Even as sick as she was, AG was able to express just how excited she was with her big girl toys, big dog, and bunny. It did take her almost 2 hours to get through all her presents with her self imposed breaks. The face is cute, but the hair is stained from her red juice vomit - don't look too close.
Elmo talks and AG listens! I think she forgets and rediscovers him every day!

Future Gold Medalist?

Maggie Valley, NC - we took AG tubing during our trip. She thought it was pretty cool. She was not afraid at all. It helped that Papa was right there the whole time. She loves to tell us about her skiing in the snow.
What a natural!
One more time... ok - maybe 10 more times!

Dancing Queen

During our trip to Asheville, Anna Grace discovered the world of live bands and dance floors! We had dinner at an incredible restaurant, Decades, in downtown Asheville. This place was incredible! Anna Grace asked for pizza and the waitress had the chef create her a pizza even though they didn't have pizzas on the menu. While we were waiting for our food, Anna Grace wanted to walk. Since the restaurant was almost empty we took turns walking her around. That was enough to satisfy her until the live entertainment (the PAID entertainment) returned from their break. When they started playing and singing, AG started dancing and clapping. She danced and danced! Like an old pro, she clapped for the band after every song. Needless to say, she quickly became the entertainment for the few patrons and employees.

On our way out of the restaurant, everyone said good bye to Anna Grace - reminded me of Cheers and Norm!

The next morning John and AG went for a stroll around the hotel property. John asked her to show him how she was dancing the with the band. As you can see - she was more than happy to show him!She had so much fun! She is still talking about the man with the guitar. I think we may be in trouble... what do you think?
