Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night

The request was for a baby bed big enough for all AG's babies to sleep in at one time.
{Guess who ended up in the cradle}
Christmas was awesome!
~~~ AG just asked what Santa would be bringing tonight ~~~
Overwhelming for all of us!
Sorry for the delay in blog posts. Things have been crazy ~ as you can all imagine! Tonight was the first chance to download pictures from camera, upload to the blog, and post. I am going to try to catch you up on things with a few small snippets from our lives.
1. I have big, fat, colored Charlie Brown lights on my house. Those that know me well - understand how huge this is. I HATE colored lights. But AGP said, "Momma, we need lights on the house so Santa Claus can find our house." I sacrificed color and Papa sacrificed altitude! The things we do for AGP!
2. AGP has asked for 2 things from Santa... a rocking horse {brown} and a big baby bed {for all her babies to sleep in at once}. These are her exact words and specifications. At one point she asked for a roll of wrapping paper but that has dropped off the list.
3. Every time we go to Target {which is almost daily}, AGP must do 2 things... look at the Christmas decoration section and play with the Handy Manny workbench.
4. Our new church opened. AGP loves to go to the brand new church to see Fadder Bill and the children!
5. AGP celebrated the 12 Days of Christmas with a "sneaky Christmas elf" that would fill a stocking on the front door, ring the bell, and run away! We had some interesting surprises ~ geese laid droppings not eggs {chocolate covered raisins}, french hens left chocolate filled croissants, and 10 other fun and quirky prizes!
6. So far, the presents under the tree are untouched. According to AGP, you can't open presents until Santa comes.
7. AGP has issues keeping secrets. She never tells Papa any of our secrets for him but she runs to tell me all their secrets. We don't understand why she does this, but she does!
8. AGP remembers Baby Jesus being in the hospital when we visited Mee Mee last year. {Nativity scene by elevators at EAMC} She asked when we were going to the hospital to tell him Happy Birthday! I decided not skip the flu precautions explanation {no one under 19 can enter hospital unless you are the patient}. I told her Baby Jesus would see her at the brand new church this year because he was alive and well enough to leave the hospital.
One final note, I may be more excited about Christmas this year than ever before. If nothing else, Christmas through AGP's eyes make me appreciate all the small things and the pure joy of the season.
Teddy Bear Tea at The Hotel
Greeted by a warm fuzzy bear.
{It's a super special secret, but the bear is really AUBIE}
Look at the spread
~ ~ hot chocolate {teddy bear tea in AGP's world}, pb&j, ham & cheese, and desserts ~~
An elf {former student of Papa's} read Christmas stories by the fire.
Then Christmas carols were sung by all!
AGP sang and danced her little heart out!
They concluded the tea by letting all the little girls visit the candy cart!
Sweetness...
Just in case you haven't seen enough!
By the way ~ we were not allowed to washAGP's face for 3 days!
Yes, she went to mass with her face painted much to her papa's dismay!
Face Painting ~ Amazing
Miss Bobbie, face painting's version of Paula Deen, spends hours creating masterpieces on little faces!
The entire time she paints~ she chats with the children and makes them feel like perfect angels!
She had all the kids eating out of the palm of her hand with her sweet, southern charm!
AGP sat perfectly still and paid close attention to all the directions while Frosty was being painted on her cheek.
{Miss Bobbie - will you come live with us?}
AGP admiring her Frosty the Snowman and her Rudolph nose.
This is more like our little "angel"!
Notice the very special BLING added to the ears?
Oh Christmas Tree...
What is AGP hiding in the tree now?
Has to be something good to keep her attention this long!
AHHHH ~~~~ Snow White is finding a new home.
Apparently, Snow White wanted a "nest" in our Christmas tree.
Of course, AGP had to indulge her wishes.
