It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas

AGP was thrilled with decorating the Christmas tree. She could not wait to unpack all our "bootiful ormaments" before she started. She carefully and methodically placed every crayon and marker she owns on the tree. She was very impressed with her work!

AGP has also declared that we must have lights {COLORED LIGHTS} on top of our house so that Santa can find her when he comes to town. {You know Santa Claus is coming to town, don't you? She sings it loud enough for the world to hear.}

This is a huge sacrifice for me. I despise colored lights with all of my being!

For AGP

~~ we will have old fashioned Charlie Brown lights lining our roof~~

Some more from today...

Callaway Gardens

While mom was in Athens for the AU game, Anna Grace and Papa took the bicycle and trailer to Callaway Gardens to enjoy this beautiful fall day.

This picture was taken at the overlook at FDR State Park after eating our ice-cream lunch.

Trying to get a butterfly to land on AG's finger.

Here's AG playing the "drums" (lights) outside the chapel. AG was in a very good mood because the organist in the chapel played a song just for her. The song was "Jesus Loves Me," and when it was clear that AG didn't recognize it (we're Catholic, lady, not Baptist), she then sang it to AG. AG loved it! So she went outside the chapel and continued to sing while playing the drums.

This is our little angel saying her prayers in the chapel:

Our "beautiful cumpkin" was ready to go trick or treating.

Papa and Anna Grace just before we left for our spooky adventure!

Trick or Treating at Mrs. Veale's house.

I am not sure who was more excited
