Heroes in Flight Airshow

Papa and AGP spent last Saturday at the Auburn Airport enjoying the Airshow.
AGP loved the planes and festivities!

There were big, bouncy things...

And a pony named Graham Cracker!

And dandelions!!

And more dandelions!
Far, Far away...

Uh-oh... guess who took the next picture.

AGP spotted something on the runway more interesting than a dandelion.

What is it?
Maybe it is the men floating down from the sky.

She looks like a big girl!
No more baby!!

"Silly, Momma. That is a Sea Plane.
The pilot sits way up high so he won't drownded. "

And this one looks like a tiger!
Hooray for Auburn, Hooray for Auburn,
Someone in the crowd yells Hooray for Auburn!!!

"Cheese. The sun is bright, Papa. I can't see!"

AGP and Papa have some crazy adventures with out Momma.
Wonder what is next?
AFLAC Games and Cycling Races in Columbus, GA.
This summer is going to be fun!!!
Adventures and mini sessions at Indian Pines Country Day School.
AGP starts pre-school in the fall. She has already met Ms. Abby, her teacher.
Ms. Abby went through Auburn City Schools.
John and I already know her from her days in school.
{We are thrilled!!}

WEIRD

Just an adorable picture - nothing weird about this one.

I jumped on line to check out of few fabulous blogs and noticed that my header was off center and had a green rectangle behind it. WHAT? WHERE? HOW? I went into the edit html and pretended to be an expert. The green rectangle is gone ~ for now. Wonder how long before it creeps back up ~ or suddenly reappears?!

Maybe I am crazy and delirious from lack of sleep. Last night was a long, sleepless night. AGP had a stomach bug. She "bomitted" many times. It was pitiful. Each episode happened the same way....

"Momma, I think ~ no, I gonna frow up."
So, I would scoop her up and run to the bathroom. She had her first lesson in praying to the porcelain gods! She would look at the water and I would hold her hair back while she mumbled, "It's not fair. It's no use. Momma, help." And then...

{Where does she get her sayings - we have no idea.}

Relay According to AGP

AGP and Matt tested the tent!

I think they enjoyed it judging by the smiles on their faces!

AGP inspecting her limousine prior to the actual walking.

Purple pom-pom ready for the Survivor's Lap.

She cheers and waves when we walk by the AJHS campsite.

Sweet AGP!
{I bet the thoughts are not so sweet but TROUBLE!}

Relay for Life

This was our fourth year to participate in the Lee County Relay for Life to support the American Cancer Society.

Our team, AJHS, did another phenomenal job raising money and walking the full 12 hours.

I was proud to be their team captain.

I think it is fair to say all the teams stepped up their game after AJHS dominated the awards in 2009. It felt good to know we set the bar and everyone was working to beat us!

{Next year, we will step it up again!}

Lyndsey Kunze designed our t-shirts again this year. This time she did it from Kentucky. The design was great! Kunze was missed!! THANKS for your creative brain power! Up for it again next year?

Todd Daniel adopted us and we are thankful. He grilled turkey and chicken legs all day long for us to sell. He even won the "Best Food at Relay" award.

Way to Go, Todd!!

The team lap was quite full! That is a good thing!!
It followed the Survivors' Lap - purple t-shirts were all around the track!
The Survivor Lap and the Luminary Lighting are heartwarming events.
You should go experience them next year!

AGP's Obsession

These are samples of our collections.
AGP even has 2 of the same princesses at home and Mimi's. She knows exactly where to find them in EVERY store ~ bottom row (eye level for her) on shelf at check out for single princess and toy aisle at Target for sets of Favorite Moments.

For a 3 year old to stay interested in anything for more than 3 minutes is amazing.

And it is just that ~ amazing ~

AGP adores her Disney Princess dolls. She has a collection at Mimi's and a collection at home. She spends hours playing princess. The princesses change clothes, dance with the Beast, sleep at the farm, and party in the fireplace {thank goodness it has been cleaned out} Each time she plays with these dolls, a WHOLE NEW WORLD is created. There is dialogue, action, suspense, tears, and laughter. Nothing is left undone.

Each doll has her own wardrobe based on the movie. Belle has the most! AGP remembers which outfit goes with which doll. She insists that each princess asks the owner if she can borrow a dress.

Did I mention each doll is less than 5 inches tall? The dolls are about the size of AGP's hands ~ now imagine the size of the clothes and SHOES!
