New Blog for Our "New Normal"

I have made the big leap to the new blogger design templates. "They" say it is easier to upload pictures and rearrange posts. We shall see...

AGP enjoying her first outing since the discharge from hospital.
I will post a true update sometime this week. Our lives have changed dramatically since our trip to the Children's Museum in Chattanooga, TN.

Mother Robin and her Baby

AGP found a stuffed robin on the rooftop playground.
She carried it around while she played.
{Look closely, you will see the robin in other pictures.}

At some point, AGP decided she needed to hatch the robin under the egg.
She was more than willing to restructure the playground equipment to fit her needs.
And was not pleased when we questioned her actions.

The answers to any and all questions were quite dramatic.
AGP had a plan in her head and was making sure it was put into action
~ HER WAY ~
I suppose it is hard and tiring to sit on top of a huge red egg.
Waiting is not AGP's strong suite, but she worked on her patience today!

Perseverance paid off!

The robin was watched and AGP was delighted!

Up, Up, and Away

AGP pulled herself up and rang the bell.
She was very proud of herself!

{Papa helped a little bit.}

The Little Yellow House

This area of the museum was amazing!!!
It was a pre-schooler sized house.
Everything was there...

kitchen, laundry, dining room, garage, and a dog house.

AGP was thrilled and very busy.
She did chores in every room of the Little Yellow House.

She looks good in a convertible, don't you think?
The trunk is full of groceries and a gas can.

Can't forget to water the plants after raking the yard!

Monet and Mozart in Training

Artistic creations from start to finish!!

The piano is a favorite ~ right after drums!

The harp was not a favorite.

Recording her first symphony.

Funny Faces at Water Tables

AGP loved the Children's Discovery Museum.
She worked hard to manipulate all the controls to squirt water!
AHHH! The hard work paid off!
Poor rubber duck!
I felt sorry for the little guy.
The red boat was going to make it through the dam and locks!

Long Weekend

The Pennisi fmily traveled to Dalton, GA for the Raisin Hope Charity Ride.
Saul Raisin is quite of story of inspiration and hope.
He was a professional cyclist.
Here is John with Saul before the charity ride.

The ride was Saturday. Sunday we went to Chattanooga and played at the Children's Discovery Museum for hours and hours! AGP loved the water tables, digging for dinosaur bones, the rooftop playground, and the Little Yellow House. Pictures to follow soon.

Papa and AGP tried to go for a swim this evening but the water was too cold!
They ended up in a hot shower instead!! They were shivering.

How 'bout the Tigers?!?!
We watched the game in our hotel room.
{room beside us was vacant, hope the room below was too}
AGP was so excited. She knew she was watching a new super star shine bright.
After one of Cam Newton's amazing runs and TDs,
AGP said, "Mommy, I think he is your new football hero."
Such a smart girl!!!!
War CAM Eagle!!!!

Tomorrow we will make our way back home.
Not sure exactly what we will do,
but I am sure we will find something to get into!!
I do need to work for a couple hours tomorrow ~ YUCK!
