I absolutely LOVE:

I also LOVE ~

discovering the carefully constructed death watch scene
from Snow White under my Christmas tree

her adventurous and outdoor spirit AGP inherited from John
{Don't tell her she was the youngest one at the party.

She thinks she is as old as Parker!}

 

the way she turns a spectator sport like a gymnastic meet into her own competition!

AGP has started making a heart with her hands and saying {in a sing-songy voice}

"You two are in LOVE" anytime she finds John and I close together.

National Championship Celebration

78,000 members of the Auburn Family celebrated

the National Championship on January 22 at Jordan-Hare.

It was a beautiful but cold day!

Life Before AGP

Last night I crashed! I was exhausted.

I think I was asleep before John finished reading AGP her bedtime story.

This morning, AGP crawled in bed and woke me up. It got me thinking...

What was life like before AGP?

Each break from school involved a vacation!
We packed our bags and off we went.
2 bags ~ one each ~ simple!

NASCAR races were great long weekend trips.

Our favorite vacation destination!!!

Even now, we do our best to get away to Sin City at least once a year.

We have the best time!

I do not think we have done the same thing twice.

I really want to stay at Encore, but I'll keep wishing for that luxury.

We have even talked about AGP's 21st birthday celebration in...

Being a good listener {RARE}

Out of the Mouths of Babes

Mimi called me at work today, she was laughing so hard I could not understand her.

Lisa met her at the door of IPCDS to whisper a tidbit of information AGP shared with all her teachers...

 We are having a baby boy!

Ummm - hello!

That is impossible and so NOT TRUE!!!

Where did she get that?

Why did she share that untruth?



AGP is our the ONE and ONLY!

I am certain of one thing ~ the fun is just beginning!

What do you do by your fire?

Apparently, AGP warms her buns and eats ice cream
while wearing a bathing suit in dead of winter!



And occasionally, she will be more normal!
Those times are few and far between!



Keepsake

AGP insisted on bringing some of the celebratory toilet paper home from Toomer's Corner.

She wasn't satisfied putting it in her keepsake box.

It had to hang up high and in a very unusual place!

"Somewhere that would usually get me in TROUBLE but not when Auburn wins!"

Who could say no to that request ~ not me!!!
